e2S Glue-Line Termite Resistance
Wesbeam LVL includes e2S treatment as standard. This glue-line treatment is designed to provide termite resistance for suitable applications south of the Tropic of Capricorn.
Selecting the Right LVL Treatment
Treatment selection is an important part of product specification. The right treatment level depends on the product, application, exposure conditions, project location and relevant design requirements.
Wesbeam LVL includes e2S glue-line termite resistance as standard for use south of the Tropic of Capricorn. Additional treatment options, including H2 and H3 LOSP, may be available for selected products and applications where greater protection is required.
H2 Treatment
H2 LOSP treatment is used for inside, above-ground applications where timber is protected from wetting and where additional insect and termite protection is required.
H3 Treatment
H3 LOSP treatment is available for selected above-ground external applications where timber may be subject to periodic wetting but can dry out.
Specify for the Right Environment
Treatment levels must be matched to the project location, exposure conditions, hazard class and intended end use. Always confirm suitability against Wesbeam documentation and project-specific requirements.
