e-frame [floor] for consistent structural framing

e-frame [floor] is a purpose-engineered LVL solution for traditional subfloor framing, delivering greater strength and uniformity than sawn timber in a comparatively lighter and easier-to-handle system. Designed around a 1.8 m framing grid, e-frame [floor] provides a practical and consistent approach to subfloor construction.

Where it is used

  • Traditional subfloor framing

  • Floor systems using 450 mm or 600 mm joist spacing

  • Subfloor systems using bearers at 1.8 m centres on piers

  • Applications using a 1.8 m pier grid, including 1.2 m spacing around the external perimeter for tile-roof applications

Performance benefits

  • Engineered performance: Greater strength and uniformity than traditional sawn timber alternatives.

  • Buildability: Comparatively lightweight, making components easier and safer to handle on site.

  • Termite protection: e2S termite treated to provide a robust barrier against termite attack in above-ground applications.
